By Jennifer Calfas Philadelphia officials said they would reinstate a citywide indoor mask mandate as the Omicron BA.2 variant has led to an increase of newly reported Covid-19 cases across the Northeast. Residents and visitors will be required to wear masks in public spaces indoors starting next week, said Philadelphia Health Commissioner Cheryl Bettigole during a press conference Monday afternoon.
